Experience: 1 yr
I am 18 and going into my senior year at Waynflete high school. Caring for others has always been a part of my life. Growing up with my older sister, Sally, who has Down Syndrome, has instilled in me patience, flexibility, and thoughtfulness. I have one year of professional childcare experience -but really a lifetime of unpaid childcare experience- and I'm comfortable caring for 1-3 children at a time. This past year I volunteered at Reiche in the special education class to help children with developmental disabilities learn to read/write. I enjoy engaging kids in active, technology-free games and activities. Since I run competitively, I love being active outside! I'm also happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, housekeeping, carpooling, and swimming supervision. I always prioritize open communication with parents, following your preferred method. My goal is to create a nurturing and fun environment where your child can thrive, just as I've always strived to help Sally thrive.
Grace is reliable, trustworthy and has a great balance of providing fun and structure with people of all ages.
