Experience: 1 yr
I am 18 and a senior at WHS. At school, I am captain of the track, cross country, and soccer team. Next year I will be attending Amherst College where I will run on the cross country and track team. Caring for others has always been a part of my life. Growing up with my older sister, Sally, who has Down Syndrome, has instilled in me patience, flexibility, and thoughtfulness. I have one year of professional childcare experience -but really a lifetime of unpaid childcare experience. For the 7 months I have worked for a family who has a 2-year-old boy, and two girls ages 6 and 8! Last year I volunteered at Reiche in the special education class to help autistic children learn to read and write. Since I run competitively, I love being active outside! I'm also am a great cleaner and cook. I always prioritize open communication with parents, following your preferred method. My goal is to create a fun, nurturing environment for your child.
Grace is reliable, trustworthy and has a great balance of providing fun and structure with people of all ages.
