About Golda

My personality is patient, nurturing & thoughtful I have a heart for seniors & enjoy their interesting stories & wisdom. I work with seniors still in their own, or their family's home, or in assisted living that don't need full time medical supervision. I offer a companion role that assists with basic day to day tasks such as dressing, taking meds, ensuring regular meals, assistance with movement & safety. I used to work as an office administrator in a frail care centre & a hospice service where I had daily exposure to elderly care. I also volunteered for 3, 5 years as an elderly companion. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, spend outdoor time & doing simple crafts. One thing you should know about me is I take pride in my work, I honor my commitments & genuinely enjoy the company of elderly persons. My skills include good conversationalist & listener. I attempt to overcome resistance with distraction. I strive to be enthusiastic & bubbly to positively impact their mood.
