About Gloria

My background includes a Master's Degree in Rehab Counseling and Certificate in Gerontology. I have over 25 years experience working in human services, assisting a variety of individuals from all walks of life, various disabilities, and age groups. I also have a strong background working with seniors who are living independently, but work with them around potential needs and services they may be eligible for. I have assisted with grocery shopping, other errands, cooking, light housekeeping, companionship, transporting to appointments, I took care of my parents and coordinated services on their behalf when they could no longer care for themselves. I helped on weekends as much as I could. I handled their end of life care as well. I have also gone through hospice training and supported folks on hospice which truly was an honor. I am also knowledgeable about many medical issues related to aging, including Dementia/Alzheimer's.
