About Giselle

I'm a friendly, caring, and fun-loving elementary teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years and have taught 3rd, 4th, and 6th. I've tutored kids from ages 7-13 since college. I'm an avid reader and would love to help your kids love reading too! I find one of the most impactful way of teaching reading comprehension skills is reading interest-based books. I struggled with math when I was in elementary school, so I have an understanding of that feeling and now know all the tricks and tips to be successful. I love helping kids to learn about the cool world around them and figure out ways to solve their own problems. I am open to taking kids on mini field trips in my lovely (and safe) Subaru. I am willing to work on a weekly schedule or as needed, I'm flexible!
