About Gina

I work full time in Washington, DC, and have spent the past four years working professionally in the area. I graduated from Virginia Tech with a B. S. in Sociology and minors in Political Science and Diversity & Community Engagement. I have experience caring for children of all ages through babysitting, volunteering, youth-focused professional work, and being a very dedicated aunt. I love working with kids because they inspire me, and I care deeply about their development, confidence, learning, and future. My ideal role is after-school care where I can be just as much a mentor as a sitter; helping with homework, activities, exploring DC, and making everyday time fun and meaningful. I'm also happy to take occasional babysitting jobs for date nights or when families need extra help. I was a Division I college athlete and am active, dependable, professional, organized, and committed to being someone families can trust.
