About Gillian

Empowering young learners to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary students in Math, English, and Study Skills, I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment by tailoring my approach to your child's unique needs, whether through visual aids, hands-on activities, or open discussions. When concepts become challenging, I break problems into manageable steps and connect lessons to real-world interests to keep motivation high. I believe consistent communication with parents is essential for building the trust necessary for student success. Nothing brings me more joy than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student masters a new skill. I look forward to partnering with you to help your child thrive and discover a genuine love for learning.
