About Alexis

Unlocking a student's unique potential drives my approach to education. With two years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I empower elementary students to develop critical thinking skills by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting concepts to their personal interests. I assess learning styles through active observation and open communication, ensuring my methods evolve alongside your child. I prioritize clear, consistent dialogue with parents to create a collaborative environment where students feel supported. Whether we are tackling math, computer basics, or sports and fitness, I find immense joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or online to provide the personalized support your student deserves. I look forward to helping your child grow and succeed in their own unique way.
