About Gillian

Hello! My name is Gillian. I'm a certified 7th grade science teacher with previous experience in special education. I'm currently working toward my Master's in Education and living in the Fairfield, CT area for the summer. I'm looking for a childcare role where I can bring my calm, patient, and friendly energy to support your family. I love helping kids grow and learn, and I come prepared with fun educational games and creative ways to stay engaged. I also have a background in kinesiology and children's exercise science, so I enjoy encouraging outdoor play and movement. I'm confident enforcing rules kindly and consistently, and I'm happy to help with light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, or driving. I have my own transportation and value open communication with families. I'm excited about the opportunity to help out this summer!
