About Georgia

My name is Georgia and I am currently a tutor for high school level English, Writing, and general Language Arts. I began my tutoring career with Developmental Learning Solutions (DLS) based in San Jose, and am currently a private tutor. I have 15+ years of nanny, childcare, and educator experience from infancy to adult, and am also a Postpartum Doula, a role that comprises of a lot of patience and education. I am kind, encouraging, and patient and believe that every child or student has special skills and strengths and aim to celebrate these strengths while working with the child to help in areas that are challenging and potentially discouraging. As someone who struggled in grade school yet thrived in college when I was finally able to focus on my interests, I make a point to use your child's interests and joys to make learning more relevant and enjoyable.
