About Georgia

I like working with kids because it brings me joy. I will be attending ECC for early childhood education. Spending time with children also helps me to better understand their view of the world and their learning needs. I started working with children 3 years ago as a Swim Instructor. However, the experience I got from my taking care of my little siblings has been much more beneficial. A little over two years ago my parents had twins. Helping my parents with my siblings has given me the skills and confidence needed to be a great nanny. In my spare time, I enjoy nature, taking walks, dancing, playing with my little siblings, listening to music and hanging out with my friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am a firm believer that young children should not be utilizing screens for entertainment purposes. Screens harm the development of their prefrontal cortex. I work to engage children in creative play to help grow their imaginations and critical thinking skills.
