We hired Genevieve to work with our ten year old daughter, R, who has many special needs including being nonverbal. When Genevieve arrived to our house she was professionally dressed and immediately sat down on the floor and addressed R, saying "hi" and speaking directly to her. Not many people engage with my daughter this way! It was clear that she felt very comfortable around children with special needs. Since being hired, I can confidently say that Genevieve is a quick learner. She learned R's schedule and routine with ease. She is cautious of R's meal prep and feeding procedures due to her multiple food allergies. She helps R with all activities of daily living including bathing and dressing. She strives to make the day fun oftentimes asking if she can play with her in the pool or go to the park. My family has been very impressed with Genevieve. I know she's looking for other part time employment to supplement her income. Any family would be lucky to have her!
