Hi I am Geneva, I am new to the care. com world, but excited to talk to you and your family about your current needs! - Graduate student at JMU working to complete my Master in Elementary Education. - I am looking for part-time work while I am here in Charlottesville until August 15th. - 6 months experience as an infant classroom assistant teacher at Generations Crossing child-care center in Harrisonburg working with children until the age of 12 months, caring for 4 children alone. - Previous experience working as a summer camp counselor with elementary-age children, swim instructor, and babysitter. - I am fully vaccinated. - Updated background check as of January 2021. - I have a clean driving record and access to my own car. - I am extremely comfortable around animals. I love to spend time outdoors, playing actively, reading, baking, and engaging creatively with children. I am excited to be a teacher because of the positive impact that I can make on their future.
