About Genesis

Hello, my name is Genesis. I am 30 yrs old this year. I have experience caring for children & adults of many backgrounds & abilities. My bachelor's is in Communication Sciences/Language Disorders (at the time was considered a special education degree). I have worked as a speech therapist, substitute teacher, preschool age, nature school educator, yoga teacher, etc. I currently work as a caregiver for elderly people, & children and family assistant work. I also started recently again working as an SLPA. In summary my experiences are working with children & elderly, & special needs in various fields including direct care. I am also a post birth Doula & provide afterbirth doula support, such as meal prep, home cleaning, sibling care, care for the mom etc.

From the moment Genesis walked in our front door I felt a sense of assuredness from her that made me feel so comfortable with her role as caretaker for my two toddlers. She wasn’t over the top, she wasn’t shy or hesitant, she just immediately and calmly jumped in to playing with my girls. They loved her! My toddlers never had a babysitter before, and they are very clingy, so I was worried about how they would be without me, but Genesis is clearly highly experienced and completely natural with taking care of little. I would absolutely recommend her to any family. She was a blessing to ours <3
