I attend NYU as a pre-law student majoring in Economics and Politics with a minor in philosophy, and continue to tutor the families I've been working with for over 2 years now. My priority is to build confidence and critical thinking skills in a student's learning habits. I emphasize having a transparent environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. It's essential to build trust and open communication between both parents and child to make rapid progress. I assess individual learning styles through active observation to ensure my methods adapt to your unique needs and adjust accordingly. With the students I've worked with in the past, I've found most success in fostering a relationship that allows them to feel comfortable in admitting their weak areas without feeling judged, which allows for more growth and understanding on subjects that made feel overwhelming.
