About Gabriela

Hi! My name is Gabriela. I previously worked at the YMCA as an After School Site Director and Summer Camp Counselor, where I planned and supervised daily activities, helped children with homework, led arts and crafts, organized games and sports, and created fun, educational experiences in a safe and positive environment. I currently work full-time as a Pediatric Oncology Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where I provide compassionate care for children and their families. I also have experience working in PICU, NICU, and as a 1:1 patient sitter. I am also CPR certified. I am currently a nursing student and will be starting nursing school at UTEP this semester. Since I work three 12-hour shifts each week, my full-time schedule is set about a month in advance, allowing me to reliably plan my availability. That means I'm typically available to help families on my four days off each week.
