About Gabi

Gabi is a compassionate, highly skilled caregiver with a strong professional background in child welfare, family support services and mental health. She currently serves as a caseworker with an agency in Indiana where she partners closely with the Department of Children Services and collaborates with community partners to support children and families and complex situations. Through this work she has developed exceptional strengths and patience, communication, and trauma informed care. She brings a unique blend of clinical insight and practical caregiving experience, her background equips her to handle a wide range of situations with calm, professionalism, empathy, and sound judgement. Whether supporting emotional development, maintaining routines, or creating a safe and engaging environment, she approaches every child with respect, kindness and attentiveness, families who work with her can expect a dependable and responsible caregiver, strong understanding of child development and behavioral needs, experience working with diverse family systems and dynamics, excellent communication and problem-solving skills and a nurturing and patient approach that builds trust with children. She is passionate about supporting children’s well-being and development and she takes pride in building positive lasting relationships with the families she serves. In addition to her professional experience, she is in the process of completing a dual masters program and social work and couples and family therapy at the University of Louisville.
