About Frannie

As a recent psychology graduate from Westmont College, I am passionate about the benefits of play, fresh air, and laughter. I'd describe my personality as empathetic, energetic, and coordinated. I like working with kids because they possess a zeal for the world that is not present among other age groups. Family psychologist Andrea Gurney writes in her book, about the power of play for all people groups. In working with kids, not only am I modeling to them however they are providing a great example to me of the need for fun and recreation in my own daily life. I started working with kids during high school when volunteering at my church's VBS. Since then, I have had various babysitting and nannying jobs, have volunteered in a nursery, have worked in a residential psychiatric home, and have been a caretaker for those with special needs. One thing you should know about me is that I am trying to raise money to support a trip to Southeast Asia for cultural learning and ministry!
