I am a Bay Area native but a UCLA undergraduate entering my final year of college (time flies)! My love for caretaking actually started through tutoring. I have volunteered as a tutor all throughout high school in the Bay Area, mostly teaching Spanish-speaking children (ages 6-13). From there, I have been baby sitting in the Santa Monica area for 3 years and tutoring SAT prep, Spanish and other subjects for 2 years. Therefore, I am happy to merge the childcare/tutoring duties together! I have a car to commute, and love to explore LA museums, libraries, record stores, beaches with the kiddos I babysit. I'm happy to do afterschool pickup and drop off at extracurricular activities. I'm also comfortable watching multiple children at once for those bigger families. I'm anti-technology (besides watching & dissecting films with friends) and prefer to spend my time with kids outdoors exploring, reading, painting, and playing.
