About Flor

Hello, my name is Flor . I'm a professional nanny and educator with over 5 years of experience caring for children from infancy through school age, including those with developmental needs. I hold a Master's in TESOL from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in Translation and Interpretation from Hunter College. I'm bilingual in English and Spanish and previously taught ESL at the high school level for 6 years. I also offer academic tutoring in reading, writing, Spanish, and language support. With over 15 years of personal caregiving experience for a family member with disabilities, I bring patience, structure, and a nurturing approach. I'm also a part-time salsa and bachata dance instructor and love integrating music and movement into daily routines. I'm travel-ready, pet-friendly, and happy to support household routines.
