Hi! I'm Flora, I'm 23 years old and live in central Boulder. I've been caring for children for about 9 years and have loved every second of it. I was raised in Boulder in a very artistic and creative household-my father went to culinary school and my mother taught art for many years. I grew up surrounded by creativity, learning to bake and get messy, which I believe is so important for child development. I love bringing that spirit into the lives of the kiddos I nanny! I've been with my current family for 5 years, but now that their girls are in full-time school, I'm sadly no longer needed regularly. We have been neighbors with Flora for the last 10 years and have gotten to know her very well over the last 2-3 years when she started occasionally watching our 3 young daughters. At the time, the girls were 6, 4, and 2. Flora is a natural with kids! She comes ready to give them her full attention and brings fun crafts to do with them. Our girls love when Flora comes over to take care of them and ask for her all the time. Last summer after the birth of our 4th daughter, Flora was a huge help by coming over 2 afternoons a week for about 3 hours to take care of the older girls while I napped and took care of our infant. They had a great summer with her doing art projects and listening to music and jumping on the trampoline. We were fortunate that Flora was being very careful to protect her health that we felt comfortable having her watch our daughters, as we had been isolating at home due to our infant. We trust her completely and would highly recommend her!
