About Fiza
Experience: 10 yrs
Hi, my name is Fiza , and I am a PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at UCI with years of experience helping students succeed. I have worked at Tutoring and Mathnasium, where I supported students of all ages in building strong foundations in math and reading. Throughout both my undergraduate and graduate studies at UCI, I tutored through the university's tutoring centers, working with students in both one-on-one and group settings. I genuinely love working with kids, helping them find their passion and showing them how to truly understand each subject. My goal is always to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident, safe to ask questions, motivated, and supported in reaching their full potential.
Most recent review
We had the pleasure of working with Fiza for about six months and we are truly sad to see her go as she moves away for school. She has been a wonderful tutor for our children, and we would highly recommend her to any family. From the beginning, we were very specific about what we were looking for. We wanted our kids to be challenged academically and develop a strong foundation and interest in STEM. Fiza really understood those goals and tailored her time with them accordingly. One of the things we appreciated most was that she came prepared every week with hands-on STEM projects for the kids. Our kids always looked forward to seeing what project she had planned, and it made their tutoring sessions both educational and fun.
