About Fiona

I like working with kids because they remind me of what is most important in the world and their joy is contagious, and getting to make their days any better or contribute to their learning and growth if I can is a gift. I'm looking for a job for the summer. I started working with kids though babysitting and then four years of teaching in the preschool at Corvallis High School along with a couple years in afterschool programs through Boys and Girls Club, and volunteering in elementary school classrooms. I am now in college at University of Oregon studying to be a pediatric occupational therapist one day. In my spare time, I like to spend time outdoors, with friends, take care of kids, find fun projects to do, cook and bake. One thing you should know about me is respecting your boundaries and creating consistency with the expectations you have in your home for your kids is really important to me. My skills include patience, creativity, and communication.
