About Ella Mae

Hi, I'm Ella Mae! I like working with kids because I love seeing each unique child grow and flourish in their own way. All ages and stages of childhood are so special and important and I love getting the chance to connect with children and their families on that journey! I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility to be creative with the kids and have some fun adventures, at home or in the community. I love doing art projects, going to the park, and playing pretend. I started working with kids when I was in middle school, first by helping my mom with my young siblings and then as a babysitter. I later worked at a ballet studio as a teacher aid, as well as at a summer camp as a camp counselor and gymnastics instructor! I also have daycare experience with ages 1-4. In my spare time, I like to read books, hike, play with my cat Mango, and do jigsaw puzzles. One thing you should know about me is I participated in bilingual education for K-12 and am fluent in Spanish!
