Hello! I am from Portland, Oregon and moved to Seattle in early 2021. I then worked at a Montessori daycare in a mixed-age toddler room for a year and a half before joining the team at another school in the same company as an Assistant Director and support teacher. I am hoping to nanny part-time while I go back to school (career change-- I am going back to school to become a middle school math teacher!). I also have many years experience as an arts camp counselor at a Montessori-inspired day camp (ages 3-18) and as a math tutor. My grounding principles when working with young children are dignity, autonomy, patience, empathy, and joy!
