About Felicia

I received a degree in Family Consumer studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood education. After I graduated, I was offered a job as a Head start teacher for the pre-K classroom. This is age is such a great age, because you get to guide the children in learning. Each child has their own learning style and the key to being a good teacher is to be aware of their individual needs. After a year at head start I decided to work on another degree in voice and my job during that time. I was a nanny/mother's helper for four children with a set of twins. Their ages were between 6-12. My responsibilities included: running errands, dropping off children to different activities, laundry, light housekeeping, cooking, helping the children with homework, helping with piano lessons and teacher voice, spending time with the children, taking the children to fun activities, helping the children reach to their potential and have fun. A key in being a good nanny and teacher is to be consistent and show positive reinforcement.
