About Tanya

I have been employed for three years with three families. Currently, I am working with a 15-month-old for the last 9 months. However, I am looking for new opportunities and possibly working at a preschool! I worked with a family that had 3 children who were 6, 3 and 8 months old at the time. I was with this particular family for a year. I homeschooled the two older children and also drove them to various extracurricular activities. I enjoy making baby food, going for walks and engaging in sensory projects, and having loads of fun! I believe in a natural environment for children. I am mild mannered, enthusiastic and love to be silly. I also have two years experience working with children who have autism. I implemented behavior plans by decreasing maladaptive behavior while increasing socially acceptable behaviors. I took data in all observable behavior to show progress. I have two children of my own ages 13 and 16. I love being a mom and I love my job as a nanny!
