About Fatima

I've developed a real love for working with children through my time in ESE and Early Head Start roles with Broward County Schools. I've worked with children that have ADHD, ODD/IED, and ASD. Those experiences taught me how to be patient, caring, and attentive to each child's unique needs. I truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe; a care and energy that I will carry with me into babysitting. I'm currently receiving my EMT certification through MDC, and am currently a First Aid Responder, so safety is always a top priority for me. I truly enjoy being a positive presence in a child's life and giving parents peace of mind. When it comes to play, I've received training in child-led play, a form of play that allows the child to guide the interaction. My job is to create a safe and engaging environment, then follow your child's lead, observing and joining in their play as invited. This encourages autonomy and lets children express themselves freely.
