I have to start out by saying that our daughter loves Farhana deeply, like a family member, and perhaps on some days, more than she loves anyone else.

Farhana cared for our daughter from 4 months to 15 months, and has been able to do such magical Mary Poppins-esque things as introduce her to South Asian foods, incredibly, without making a mess (we still can’t figure out how she does this). She’s also helped her crawl and stand and walk and talk, all in a kind and supportive manner. She has great wisdom when we’re stumped on questions of sleep or teething or tummy troubles.

In seeing how Farhana cares for our daughter and having heard from her about the many babies she has cared for in the past, it is clear that she is very attuned to the needs of each child and modifies her approach to caregiving to help them thrive.

Farhana has been with us for over 12months and has become part of the family. She joined us when our daughter was 8months  old and both my wife and I had returned to work. She always came with a smile and a lot of positive energy. She has been with our daughter through various developmental stages and has a lot of experience helping young children move from crawling to standing and then on to walking. It is clear she has been a positive influence on our daughter and given our similar ethnic backgrounds, Farhana has helped teach our daughter another language which has been great! Throughout the time Farhana has often gone above and beyond, helping to cook food, cleaning, washing/folding clothes and even taking our daughter to various classes/events in the near by area. We would definitely re-hire Farhana!

Farhana has been such a blessing. My partner and I were looking for an Urdu speaker to help care for our 3-month-old baby and we feel so lucky we found Farhana! She is kind and supportive in so many ways.  As a first time parent I was (am!) a bit anxious and she was very patient as I eased into spending more time away from our daughter. She also had a lot of great tips about things I was new to, such as massaging baby's calves and feet in particular (which our daughter loves!) or getting special nighttime diapers (where have I been? they are amazing!) or tips to help her take a bottle better after she had been resisting. On top of being great with our baby (who smiles when she walks in!), Farhana is punctual, flexible, and also helpful around the house, helping clean the floors or fold laundry. She has truly made life as a new parent so much saner!

Farhana has been a God-send to our family! She has been with our family since our daughter was a month old and our daughter has flourished. Farhana is kind, dependable, trustworthy, gentle, and has a wonderful spirit. She has cared for our daughter incredibly well, performs daily developmental activities, and is very vigilant with our daughters health and well being. Farhana has been very punctual and flexible with schedule changes or changing needs. Farhanna was an absolutely wonderful nanny for our 4 month old baby.  She was always on time, very reliable and has a very good way with our daughter. Farhanna was very nurturing and attentive and even picked up around our apartment! We felt very comfortable going to work knowing she would be caring for the baby and would highly recommend her to any family.

Farhana has been a wonderful nanny to our son and we feel very lucky we found her! When he sees her he gets very excited and she not only plays with him but has taught him new skills as well. Farhana truly loves babies! She has been very tender and loving with our son. She got on the floor and played with our 5 month old son, and she sang to him, and held him when he wanted to be held. Farhana is a truly attentive and caring nanny, who takes care of the child's every need. Farhana instructed us on baby massage, and other baby-care tips that we weren't familiar with as new parents. She was always prompt, and I especially appreciated that she would send me pictures or short videos throughout the day, so that I knew my son was doing well. My son was in good hands with Farhana.

Farhana is a great caregiver, she took care of our first baby boy between the age of two months until he was eleven months.  She was a very kind, loving and caring nanny and took care of our child like her own.  We never had to worry about him when she is around, as we knew he was always safe and tended for.

Farhana was a great help, she assisted me with everything that I asked of her. She was good with getting my son to sleep. She was good with helping me keep my home clean and tidy by packing up the toys and cleaning up after meal times and cleaning the floors as my son is spending a lot of time on the ground. She helped me with the endless loads of laundry that piled up. She was always on time. I felt very comfortable leaving my kids alone at home with her so that I could get some much needed me time or sleep. I would highly recommend her.

Farhana has helped out several times with my 5 month old so . She is caring, trustworthy, flexible and has a lot of patience with my son. I will certainly hire her again and any family would be lucky to have her. 

Farhana has been the nanny for our 4 month old and we have nothing but wonderful things to say about her. She's punctual and dependable. She always speaks to our daughter with love and affection. She's willing to help around the house without being asked to. It's been a relief everyday to come home ever since we hired her.

She did a great job of caring for our 3 month daughter - Maya loved smiling and singing songs with her. She also always made sure our house was clean - she vacuumed the floors and cleaned up the kitchen (including loading and unloading the dishwasher) without even being asked. We always came home to a clean house. Our childcare needs had changed and we needed live-in help but we greatly enjoyed having her and we know Maya will miss her!

Farhana has taken care of our little boy every day from five months to eighteen months and has become part of the family during that time.  She is extremely loving, attentive, and active.  Every time we came home, she is engaging with him, talking to him, reading to him.  When he was sick, she comforted him as if he were her own child.  As he grew, she has worked on teaching him manners, words, colors, and more.  He is a picky eater, and she made him food every day that he enjoyed eating.  Our son absolutely loves Farhana and lights up when he sees her.  When she leaves at the end of the day, he often hangs on to her or tries to follow her out the door.  Farhana also is very helpful around the house -- we come home every day to a tidy apartment, and she helps enormously with dishes, the baby's laundry, and more.  We would keep Farhana for many years if we could, but we are moving across the country.  Could not recommend her more highly.

Farhana is an amazing caregiver, and has been absolutely wonderful with my 3 month old baby boy. I was really afraid to leave him with anyone, but Farhana was so attentive, thorough and caring that I quickly got over my fear. She has a great deal of experience with children, having raised three of her own, and managed our little boy beautifully.  

Farhana was extremely punctual, always arriving a bit early, and staying a bit late if I had laundry to fold or had to finish up a phone call.  She is professional, warm and has a wonderful personality.  She understands English well and is working on improving her speaking. But I found we could communicate easily, and had no difficulty in this regard.

Most importantly, Farhana was wonderful at engaging my child and making sure his needs were met.  Every day she would read to him, listen to music, make sure he had his naps, do tummy time and notice whatever skills he seemed to be working on (i.e., trying to roll).  She also helped us a great deal by showing me how to do infant massage to ease our baby's gas pain.

We had a wonderful experience with Farhana and I would wholeheartedly recommend her.

She is very caring, immaculate, punctual, cares for children like her own.

I Am thrilled to have a chance to provide a reference for Farhana.  She worked for us 2-3 days a week for 6 months, beginning when our son was about 6 months old.  She is a superb babysitter and was incredibly attentive and responsible.  She is loving and fun and always is thinking about how to engage and encourage the baby to try new things.
