About Evey

I'm Evey (pronounced Ee-Vee) and my experience consists mostly of working with family friends and neighbors. I value giving kids choices to foster their independence while simultaneously maintaining certain boundaries. I believe in using play to connect with kids to encourage creativity, self expression, and building communication skills. I started working with kids when I was 13. I mostly work freelance but am open to nannying if it fits my schedule! In my spare time, I like to sew which includes making stuffed animals and tailoring clothes. I also love to draw, and spend time with friends. One thing you should know about me is that I am working towards getting my drivers license & I have a car waiting for me, but for the meantime I'll walk/uber/bus to babysit. My skills include reading (especially with silly voices,) knowing when to pick my battles, and PLAYING with kids instead of just supervising.
