About Naomi

I'd describe my personality as eccentric, book nerd, and always a student. I like working with kids because we're all kids at heart. Sometimes we just need a little reminder to stop and enjoy the little things in life. I started working with kids when I was in middle school. As a teacher's kid, I got invited to babysit when the teachers had a night out. Beyond that, I've always enjoyed the joy and happiness I receive when caring for children. In my spare time, I like to read! Doesn't matter the genre, if I can read it I will. One thing you should know about me is I believe in honest communication. I will be honest with children just like I am with adults (the children just will only receive all age appropriate details). My skills include child safety awareness, providing age-appropriate activities as well as social emotion learning activities, and providing a safe environment that supports collaboration, communication, listening, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
