About Evens

Hi! My name is Evens, and I have over five years of experience teaching and tutoring children and adults. I genuinely love helping people learn, grow, and gain confidence. Everyone learns differently, so I take time to understand each student's learning style and adapt my approach. I love creating personalized games and activities that make learning fun. I'm a senior Mechanical Engineering student at UNLV with a passion for math, science, and problem-solving. My long-term goal is to start my own aerospace company. I also played sports throughout my life. I love tutoring because I grew up learning differently myself. I learned best by exploring subjects in my own way. This taught me that everyone learns differently. I started tutoring around sixth grade, helping classmates, and continued through high school and college. At UNLV, I've helped dorm mates with subjects outside my classes. My skills include personalized teaching, patience, and creative problem-solving. I love to help all.
