About Evelyn

My name is Evelyn and I am a recent graduate at Texas Tech University with a degree in Advertising and a minor in Public Relations. I started working with children when I was 14 years old at Camp Doublecreek as a CIT (counselor in training). I attended Doublecreek as a camper for years, and then went through the counselor program until I was eventually a senior counselor. I worked there for four summers, ranging from groups of up to 25 boys or girls ages 4 through 13. In 2022 I worked as an inclusion counselor at the JCC where I worked with children with special needs and helped them socialise with their peers and any other personal goals. While in school, I worked at a daycare where I worked with newborns and toddlers, and then became a nanny my last year in college to a family of two wonderful little boys. I have tons of experience with children of all ages, backgrounds and personalities. I am a very outgoing, open minded person, and am excited for this new chapter.
