About Eva Sheree

Hi! My name is Eva Sheree, I recently graduated Hunter College with an Honors degree in film studies and have decided to return to child care. At 15, I took my first job in high school where I worked as a programs instructor for a Seattle climbing gym. I worked with children ages three through 11 in learning technical skills for the sport, but also paid special attention to confidence building; contributing to the fostering of an encouraging, supportive educational community. After moving to New York for school, I worked as a nanny for three wonderful girls for about a year before switching between full time childcare and hospitality work throughout my schooling. I intend to form a career around education and childcare, with plans to pursue a masters in education within the next few years. I am also an artist, and believe strongly in the importance of giving children opportunities for creative expression and exploration with the city arts!
