Hi, my name is Etta and I am a happily married (25 years) mom of 4 and Gigi to 2 beautiful princesses. I've been a caregiver on and off for 25 years. I am also certified through the Veterans Hospital program M4A. I have been on both sides of caregiving. I also have a 17-year-old daughter who has had 9 open heart surgeries and countless hospitalizations. It's never easy when it's all on you and that's where I come in to try and relieve some of the stress that comes from having the world on your shoulders. I do light cleaning, cooking, and laundry. I feed the patients who need it and change diapers/depends, help to and from the bathroom, help clean up and bathe if needed, and work side by side with hospice and home health services when needed. Etta took care of my mom and dad. She was wonderful with my mom getting her to eat and take her medicines. She cooked two meals a day for them, In the beginning Etta was a little nervous about opening cabinets and looking for stuff. I told her to act like she was at her grandparents house. My parents loved her, My brothers and I loved the fact we had some one that we trusted with them. We lost our mom in February. Etta took care of my dad until he passed away in October.
