Hello! My name is Erin, and I'm an elementary school teacher interested in summer childcare. I recently had a baby (January 2025) and am looking to supplement my family's income. I work as a first-grade teacher at Old St. Mary's School in the South Loop of Chicago. I'm nearing the end of my 10th year at OSM (4 as a first-grade teacher and 6 as a kindergarten teacher) and my 12th year as a teacher. In addition to teaching and acting as OSM's Science Teacher Leader, I've been tutoring OSM students in math since about 2016. I have two master's degrees--one in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies from Loyola (Chicago) and one in Teacher Leadership from DePaul. My B. S. in Early Childhood Education is from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. I am easygoing, responsible, and kind. Hopefully, you find what you're looking for in me!
