About Yazmarie

Hello! I'm truly passionate about working with children and helping them grow in a safe, caring, and fun environment. I currently work as a Teacher Assistant at Chicago Public Schools, where I support first-grade students (ages 6-7) with daily classroom activities, as well as help build their reading, writing, and communication skills. I hold a Bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I am also a graduate student and working towards my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. I love being outdoors, encouraging kids to explore, ask questions, and learn through play and discovery.
