About Yazmarie

Hello! I'm truly passionate about working with children and helping them grow in a safe, caring, and fun environment. I currently work as a Teacher Assistant at Chicago Public Schools, where I support kindergarten students (ages 5-6) with daily classroom activities, as well as help build their reading, writing, and communication skills. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication with a minor in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish. I also have my Paraprofessional Educator License and certifications in mandated reporting, which reflect my commitment to providing responsible, attentive care. I love being outdoors, encouraging kids to explore, ask questions, and learn through play and discovery.
