About Erik

Hi! My name is Erik, and I have over 3 years of professional experience working with children ages 2-8 with Special Needs. I am currently a Teaching Assistant at a private preschool in Media, PA. I've had the privilege of supporting children with a variety of developmental and physical disabilities, ranging from autism to cerebral palsy. I have experience with behavior management, de-escalation techniques, and creating structured, nurturing environments where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow. My favorite part of my job is helping kids develop new skills, and celebrate their unique strengths! I'm proud to say that many of the children I work with see me as a trusted and preferred adult in their classroom. I've also spent years caring for younger family members giving me experience with kids of various ages and personalities. My goal is always to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can thrive while giving parents peace of mind!
