Hello, my name is Erika. I have 10+ years experience working with babies from 1 month of age and up until they are ready to go to school. I enjoy my job, especially when I see them growing, crawling, and walking. As a former Kindergarten teacher, helping them learn their first words is so special to me. Just a smile can make my day. I routinely prepare the meals, do the baby's laundry, and clean any bottles. I like to engage children in reading, drawing, crafts, and outdoor activities like walking or going to the park. Erika was wonderful! She arrived on time and I
started interacting with our daughter right away. My husband and I were running behind with getting ready and she helped keep our daughter busy while we finished up. She messaged us throughout the night to let us know how everything was going! Our daughter was fast asleep by the time we got home and she even made sure to pick up the toys from the day too. Erika was very nice and reliable, we would love to have her watch our daughter again!

Erika is absolutely amazing!! We had a super busy week, packing and preparing for moving our family of 6. Erika was super engaged with my two youngest kids, and kept them out of the way without making them feel stressed or like they were a bother. We were so lucky to have her help!  She's a godsend! I would hire her again in a heartbeat. Really sad we're moving away!!

Erika is wonderful. She was engaging with the kids and knew how to handle the moods they could have. She took them for many walks which I really appreciated. We will really miss her.

Erika watched our son twice a week for about 6 months.  He LOVED playing with her.  She did a great job taking care of him and keeping him engaged so we could get work done and did some tidying while he napped.  We will miss having her over.

She's that rare caregiver that balances safety, fun and cleanliness. She's made meals, kept our son entertained and safe, cleaned-up, dealt professionally with our last minute requests and makes us feel like our son is in the best hands. Especially for moms that have to leave their child for the first time- she's so understanding and gentle with that transition!

Erika provided excellent care for my 2 children (ages 5 and 2) for almost a year. She was always very thorough in taking care of them and super flexible when coronavirus shut everything down. We were sad to lose her due to some schedule changes from my work, but wish her all the best!

Care.com has not been a great experience, until we met ericka! from the minute she walked in, she exuded kindness. My son (2.5) who is very shy and standoffish, absolutely adored her. My daughter (7m) loved her too. She expertly played and fed them. She was very patient with our son, and even flexed to take him outside when he wanted to play.  At the end of the day, me, my husband and grandma wanted to hire her full time.

Our 6 month old daughter loved Erika from the start! She was very sweet and loving with her. Our daughter is often fussy, but she instantly clicked with Erika. Erika was easy to communicate with, flexible, and very responsive. We would absolutely hire her again!

Erika is such a warm and responsive babysitter- she watched our 3 month old daughter as backup childcare multiple days, and was punctual, engaging and gave us detailed reports when we got home! Highly recommended, will continue to use her for date nights and weekends.

Excellent service overall! Very good communication and highly professional. She arrived on time and sent me messages often to let me know my child was okay. Don't hesitate to hire her if you have the chance. She's outstanding!

She is a great person and mother. She has taken care of my children and they love her. I am grateful to have met her and would rehire her anytime if possible.

Erika took care of our 14 month old for several hours so we could have a 'date night'.  This was the first time we had left him with anyone other than grand-parents, so we were definitely nervous.  She was wonderful!  Our little guy took to her right away so that definitely put us at ease.  She kept us updated throughout the evening and asked questions along the way.  She was also good with our two dogs, who can definitely be a pain!!  We would definitely recommend her and will absolutely be using her again in the future!

Erika took care of my 9-month old son for 3 consecutive weeks.  She was always on time.  Followed his feeding/nap schedule very well.  She also handled my son's separation anxiety very well.  I felt safe leaving my son with her.  Also was good to our dogs and cat.  Would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Erika watched my boys for about 4 years.  She came to love my boys as if they were her own and really became part of our family.  She watched my youngest from the time he was a newborn until he was 4 and the my oldest from ages 4-8. She helped with homework, did preschool activities with them when they were younger, read to them, helped out with their laundry, made sure they cleaned up their toys and even taught them some Spanish!  She also made sure there was plenty of outside play time as well.  We moved out of state 2.5 years ago, but still keep in touch with Erika and her family.  She will be an amazing nanny for your family. I never had to worry about my kids when Erika was with them!

She is mature, professional and loving. By far the best childcare we have had for our kids. If she did not move so far away, she would still be working with us! 
She is an excellent communicator and very helpful. She is also an excellent  driver for our kids to their activities. Very punctual. 

She is still a part of our family and my kids still want to see her despite the distance. I highly recommend her!
