Hello, my name is Erica and I just moved to San Francisco to attend the Marriage and Family therapy program at the University of San Francisco. I have spent the last 10 years in Santa Barbara, and graduated from UCSB in 2021. I am new to the bay, but will have free time during the week as I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. I am looking to nanny for a family during the week, and have nannied before. I spent about 3 years with a family in Santa Barbara and then transitioned to working at an adult residential facility for people with mental illnesses. I have worked for the Mental Wellness Center in Santa barbara for the last 4 years. During my time there, I have worked with clients diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and have enjoyed my time there greatly. This led me to wanting to pursue my education further, and is why I am now studying to become an MFT. I love working with children and am looking forward to finding a family I fit in well with!

Erica started with our family when our son was around a year and a half and our daughter was 4. Erica was punctual, trustworthy and dependable. She was caring and energetic with the kids. She kept them engaged and would regularly take them on outings to the park, beach, museums, and other activities. What we loved most was her ability to work within our family’s parenting style. She was respectful of our preferences and maintained the gentle parenting approach that was important to us. It is hard to keep children entertained without media and she was able to do so. She communicated well with us and was thoughtful about following the routines and expectations we had established for our children. Our kids truly enjoyed their time with her, and we always felt confident knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. We would highly recommend Erica to any family looking for a reliable, kind, and engaging nanny.
