Working with kids with disabilities has always been a huge passion of mine, growing up with two cousins with Down Syndrome taught me love and acceptance at a young age and allowed me to find my love for this work. I have been very active in the special needs community, I coach a Special Needs soccer team, volunteer for Special Olympics and work at a respite center for kids with disabilities! My best friend had Down Syndrome and passed away a year ago, so everyday I try and continue her legacy by working with the amazing special needs community.
