About Emma

I graduated from from the University of Michigan with a degree in Psychology back in May. I have a passion for working with children and hope to pursue a career as a child life specialist in the future. I began babysitting when I was 13 and since then have volunteered as a youth basketball coach, planned and implemented activities for children with a variety of special needs and their families, was an Au Pair in Italy and Ireland, was the head counselor at a youth day camp, and most recently was a program intern at a facility for children with weakened immune systems. Outside of school and work, I love to run and hike, spend time outside, try new recipes, and play card or yard games with friends and family.

We love Emma and are so sad that she no longer lives nearby! My daughter loves her and looked forward to her coming. Because of Emma's area of education, I always felt very confident and secure leaving her with my child. I had no doubt that Emma could handle the unexpected. She went above and beyond, and always cleaned up the toys and things from meals/snacks in the kitchen... even if I hadn't yet. I can't recommend her enough!
