Over the last decade I have built my life around my love for kids. Whether through professional nannying, as a teacher at an all outdoor school, or leading kids through specialized backpacking/mountain biking camps as a field guide and counselor, children have been the through line of my professional career. My style is gentle but structured and I hope to be a guiding and loving presence in the lives of your children as they learn the hard and magical work of being first time humans. Fostering a sense of love of the outdoors, true inner confidence and authenticity, and a deep belief in kindness are the philosophy of my work. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience, a never ending sense of energy (partially fueled by coffee of course), and a playful and relaxed attitude. I'm happy to provide glowing references (!) and am currently open to part or full time work. I also have extensive experience traveling with families abroad if wanted.
