Currently, I am in leadership at an animal shelter where I oversee the caregivers and ensure the daily care of all dogs. My duties range from scheduling all caregivers, creating support plans for dogs, to cleaning kennels! My favorite part of my job is working with the more fearful pups - gaining their trust and seeing them open up is so rewarding! In past lives, I have been a Registered Behavior Technician, a nanny, a preschool teacher, and a swim instructor! I have worked with children ages 1-15 years old. I supported them in the home, in the community, and at school with language (verbal, sign, talking devices), occupational tasks, eating goals, etc. I absolutely LOVED getting to know each kiddo and learning what they love. I am huge on autonomy and finding ways to help kids learn in their own way and in ways they can enjoy it!
