About Emma

*I am now based in Brooklyn, NY* Hello! I'm an art therapy master's degree student, and I am passionate about child education and care. I also have a car and am infant/child CPR & first aid certified. I've been babysitting on and off for 10 years now, from infants to 12 years of age. I have acquired a variety of skills, from changing diapers to providing homework help. I've worked as a long-term substitute for 4-18-year-olds. Through this experience, I have learned how to cater to students' academic and emotional needs. I love working with students, as their creativity brings such a light into my life! The past two summers, I was also the location director for an academic summer camp. I oversaw all the students and staff, and I dealt with any classroom socio-emotional conflicts. I also have thorough psychology research experience at a child emotional regulation lab where we did research on the specific ways we can develop strong relationships with children. Thank you!
