Hello! My name is Emma, I am 25 years old and for the past two years I have been working as an early learning teacher for infants and toddlers at the Whatcom County YMCA. Prior to this job I was a student at Western Washington University where I received a bachelors degree in Psychology. I have nannied and cared for children in various settings for around 8 years. I am very passionate about play-based care and creating environments for children that allow them to nurture their socioemotional development. I am also familiar with basic ASL and love to incorporate signs into my communication with the kids care for. Currently, I am in the process of relocating to Seattle and will be looking for full-time work come the beginning of August.
