- I have been pet sitting since I was 12 and started sitting for the black lab next door! - Since then, I have pet sat for a variety of animals, from dogs, cats, and birds to more eclectic animals, like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish. - At home, we have a dog, cat, two guinea pigs, a rabbit, two zebra finches, a cockatiel, and a rainbow lorikeet - so it's pets all the time! - I volunteered with the Richmond SPCA for several years. - I have cared for horses as well, both as a USERL volunteer and a rider for many years. - I work full time, so I can typically visit pets twice a day - once before work, and once after. - I prefer to care for pets in their own home, where they are most comfortable.
