About Emma

I started working with kids when I was in high school by babysitting for extra cash. I then went on to work in a daycare my senior year of high school where I found that I loved working with kids. I am currently going into my first year to gain my masters in occupational therapy. Over the past few years I have received the opportunity to work with many children through my shadowing experiences of other occupational therapists. One thing you should know about me is during my sophomore year of college I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma where I underwent 6 months of chemotherapy. This experience has allowed me to become the person I am today as I believe kindness and compassion are two of the most valuable traits a human can possess. I hope to reflect these traits onto others through actions and words!
