About Emma

I'm a friendly, patient and highly educated mother of two, with a Doctorate in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Software Engineering and six years of teaching experience. I enjoy helping children build confidence, strengthen their academic skills and develop a love of learning. I offer personalised, one-to-one tutoring in elementary maths, English, reading, middle school subjects, homework assistance and homeschool curriculum support. With over 20 years of professional experience in technology, I also teach computer skills, coding, Python and Java to children, teenagers and adults. My teaching approach is encouraging, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. I provide private tutoring in students' homes throughout Lakewood Ranch, Bradenton and Sarasota. Available Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. -1 p.m.
