About Catherine

Hi! I'm a certified math teacher with 10+ years of experience teaching and tutoring students from middle school through high school. I specialize in helping students build confidence in math while truly understanding the material, not just memorizing steps. I have experience teaching and tutoring a wide range of subjects, including 7th and 8th grade math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra II, and Precalculus. I've also worked with students at different ability levels, from those who need extra support catching up to students looking to strengthen their skills and get ahead. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized to each student. I like to break down challenging concepts into simple, manageable steps and adjust my approach based on how each student learns best. I offer virtual tutoring and would love to help your child feel more confident and successful in math!
