Hello! My name is Emma! I work at News Center Maine part-time and love working with children when I get the chance! I have experience with childcare since I was in middle school; through babysitting, summer camp, and swim instruction. Around 3 years ago, I got certified as an ed tech 2, and I consistently sub in the South Portland School District. I have been certified in child and infant First Aid and CPR. I mostly work with children around the middle school age range, but have worked with children as young as 3 before! I take pride in working with kids with special needs, particularly Autism and ADHD. I think its important to support children struggling with mental illnesses and help them to find coping skills that they can use to make life easier.
